THAILAND CAMBODIA LAOS

Day 1: Bangkok Ayutthaya
Upon arrival in Bangkok in the morning, pick up from the airport. Then travel through the countryside to north of Bangkok, heading for Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam. Once the center of the Kingdom, today only the ruins of this magnificent city remain. Visit the Summer Palace of King Rama IV with its mixture of Thai, Chinese and Gothic Architecture, a well-preserved Monument to a form,er historical period. Continue to Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch the former Royal Temple. Sacred the Viharn Monkol Borphit before transfer to Wat Chai Wattanaram the Khmer Temple where is located close to the river. Then, proceed to Wat Yai Chai Mongkol for sacred the reclining Buddha image. Later on, transfer to Wat Mahathat (where the head of Lord Buddha Image is covered by Pho Tree so far) & Wat Ratchaburana nearby, and then back to the hotel and free at leisure. Overnight in Ayutthaya.
Day 2: Ayutthaya Khao Yai National Park (B)
Visit to Thailand oldest national Park at the highest conservation program is including opportunity to enjoy your photography, bird watching and wildlife study with the experience jungle tour guide. The tours included entry fee to National Park, viewpoint, soft trekking 2 hrs. Along the beautiful nature passed through the beautiful waterfall. Overnight in Khao Yai.
Day 3: Khao Yai Phitsanulok Sukhothai (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Phitsanulok, where you will have a good chance to sacred the most beautiful Lord Buddha Image namely Phra Sri Rattana Sasadaram or Phra Buddha Chinaraja. Embark to Sukhothai Historical Park or the 1st Capital of Thailand. Found in the 13th century, Sukhothai (literally means Dawn of Happiness) was the first truly independent Thai Kingdom, which enjoyed a golden age under King Ramkhamhaeng, credited with creating the Thai alphabet. The superb temples and monuments of this great city have been lovingly restored in Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-see for all travelers. (Optional a Tram is available at Sukhothai Historical Park). Overnight in Sukhothai.
Day 4: Sukhothai Sri Satchanalai Historical Park Lampang (B)
Sri Satchanalai Historical Park is located on the bank of the Yom River at Tambon Muang Kao, Sri Satchanalai County, only 55 km. from the town of Sukhothai. The ancient town, formerly call "Muang Chaliang", was named "Sri Satchanalai" during the Phra Ruang Dynasty when a new administrative centre was established to replace Chaliang. This ancient town occupied more than 320 hectares (800 acres) of land. Of this, the 91- hectare (288 acres) area within the old laterite ramparts and the city moat is the focus of sightseeing in the historical park. After that proceed to Lampang province where is one of the tourist places of the routing to the North, if time permits, we will take a horse carriage to sightseeing around the city. Overnight in Lampang.
Day 5: Lampang Chiang Mai (B)
Breakfast at the hotel, and then departs for Chiang Mai. On the way if time permit we will visit to the Phra That Lampang Luang Temple where is the most famous temple in Lampang, then continue to hotel in Chiang Mai and take a short rest, then the journey begins with a visit to Wat Doi Suthep where is one of the most sacred temples in Chiangmai - Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, located on hilltop in Northern-Thai style and containing holy relic of Lord Buddha and enjoy seeing panoramic view of the whole city. Then back to hotel and free at leisure. (Cable car at Doi Suthep is excluded). Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 6: Chiang Mai Bangkok Siem Reap (B)
Early morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Bangkok. On arrival, take the ongoing flight to Siem Reap. On arrival in Siem Reap, pick up & transfer to hotel for check in. Then free at your leisure.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 7: Siem Reap - The Small Circuit & Angkor Thom (B, D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Initially you will explore the Small Circuit. This tour includes the huge pyramid of Takeo, and the jungle-clad Ta Prohm, made famous by the Hollywood blockbuster 'Tomb Raider'. Move on to explore the impressive Royal City of Angkor Thom, where you will find the Bayon, a temple famed for its many gigantic carved faces smiling beguilingly down at you. You will also visit other important sites in this immense walled city, including the pyramid of Baphuon, Phimeanakas, and the royal viewing stands known as the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Afternoon, it is time to further discover the magnificent Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious building. If you have the time your guide will take you to an excellent spot for watching a mesmerizing Angkor Wat sunset.
In the evening we will take you to PHARE, the Cambodian circus was you will enjoy a 3 course dinner before the show. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 8: Banteay Srei & the Grand Circuit (B, L)
Breakfast at hotel.
This morning you head 30km north to visit the captivating and beautiful temple of Banteay Srei or 'Fortress of the Women'. The journey allows you to experience the beautiful Cambodian countryside as you pass through small typical villages, on-route you will visit Banteay Samre. Banteay Samre is an elaborately decorated temple, embellished with floral motifs and scenes from the Ramayana, all carved from pink sandstone. It is said the carvings must have been done by women as the detail is too fine for the hands of a man. After lunch, you continue your Angkor encounter with a visit to the spectacular temples of the Grand Circuit, beginning with Preah Khan or 'Sacred Sword', one of the largest temples at Angkor. You continue to Neak Pean surrounded by fountains and ponds. Next is Ta Som and its famous strangler fig tree. Finally, you arrive at Pre Rup, a pleasant spot to experience another Angkor sunset if you wish. Return to hotel and overnight.
Day 9: Siem Reap Luang Prabang (B)
Sunrise at Angkor Wat. You may choose to rise early today to catch the sun rising from behind Angkor Wat's five carved towers - after being awed you return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, it is time to further discover the magnificent Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious building. Then transfer to airport for the flight to Luang Prabang.
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to hotel. Luang Prabang has been claimed by the UNESCO to be the best preserved city in South East Asia. Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 10: Luang Prabang Pak Ou Caves - Luang Prabang (B)
Today, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the citys oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 11: Luang Prabang Khouangsi waterfall (B)
An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the procession. From there you will visit the morning Phosi Market, where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village, then drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails. After returning to Luang Prabang by late afternoon, we continue to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for its silk weavings and for its Saa (jute) Papermaking. We return to the city by late evening to observe the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 12: Luang Prabang departure (B)
After breakfast, we visit The National Museum (close Tuesday) at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through to the last sovereign. Also the Central Market is not to be missed. After visiting these sights in the morning, you have free time to explore the town and stroll around the shopping area. The tour ends after your transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
