Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival
Today you’ll land in Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat International Airport). Warmly welcome by our tour guide & driver at airport & then transfer to hotel for check in. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
After breakfast, at 8 am, we will visit Cu Chi tunnels - an immense network of connecting underground tunnels during American War. Back to the city for lunch.
After lunch we will visit Notre Dame Cathedral, in the heart of Saigon's government quarter, is of neo- Romanesque architecture with two high square tower and iron spires. The Central Post Office is French-style and City Hall, known as "Hotel de Ville," is typical of the French architecture that would be seen in any village in France. Visit the War Remnants Museum, featuring collections of weapons and photographs from the two Indochina wars. Our last stop is Ben Thanh market, the biggest whole sales market in Saigon. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta - Cai Be Floating Market – Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L)
7:30 am: Depart for Cai Be, stopping to take photos in Tan An town overlooking the picturesque flat rice fields. On arrival in Cai Be, take a motor boat to visit the Cai Be floating market and watch the locals trading fruit and many other commodities on board their vessels. Then wander into the small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation. Keep cruising to Vinh Long through a series of small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village, the green pearl of Vinh Long town, where you can immerse yourself in nature. Enjoy a lunch of fresh river food served in the heart of the garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Take a delightful walk through the bonsai garden. Meet the driver again in Vinh Long. Return to Ho Chi Minh City & then transfer to the airport for the flight to Da Nang City in Vietnam’s Central Region. On arrival, pick up & transfer to hotel in Hoi An for check in.

Day 4: Hoi An (B, L)
In the morning, visit the 200 year-old Tan Ky house, Phuc Kien Pagoda, the former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful riverside market. Then free for shopping or relaxing on beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An - Hue (B, L)
Morning free at your leisure.
After lunch at local restaurant, leave Hoi An for Hue, the last imperial capital of Vietnam, well-known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in small villages and surrounding hills. En route, have a look at the famous My Khe Beach and visit Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Upon arrival in Hue, pick up & transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue full day city tour (B, L)
A morning boat trip on the romantic Perfume River visiting Hue’s oldest and most revered site, Thien Mu Pagoda & the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang.
Afternooon visit the Imperial Citadel, the Purple Forbidden City, the elaborate mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc and the Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue – Hanoi (B, L)
In the morning, transfer to the airport for the flight to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, take a half day city tour including the impressive Museum of Ethnology, the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword and the Ngoc Son temple. Take one hour cyclo ride through the bustling old quarter streets of Hanoi before enjoying a fantastic traditional water puppet show (unique to Vietnam). Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
About 8 am, we’ll drive from Hanoi to one of the most magnificent scenic environments in the world, Halong Bay. The drive takes 3.5 hours. Halong covers 577 square miles, this vast bay is filled with more than 3,000 limestone “peaks” or karsts that jut from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see. We’ll spend a day and a half, including an overnight with dinner and breakfast onboard, exploring this overwhelming seascape from the decks of a traditional Vietnamese boat. Comfortable and intimate, your boat features hand-crafted wooden interiors including a dining room and pleasant air-conditioned cabins with private baths. Since we’re overnight on the water, we’ll be able to explore Ha Long Bay’s most beautiful spots with time to swim and even visit some of the largest rock formations and caves. This promises to be one of your most memorable travel experiences in Asia. Stay overnight on Boat.
Day 9: Halong Bay to Hanoi (B, L)
Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.
After breakfast, explore Sung Sot cave, swim and relax. Cruises back to the jetty while brunch is served while you are cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Cruise check-out. Rejoin car drive back to Hanoi for overnight. Arrive in Hanoi at 4:00pm. Check in hotel & free time to go sightseeing in the Old Quarter.
Day 10: Hanoi – Yangon (B, L)
Today we enjoy a half day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda & the Temple of Literature.
After lunch at local restaurant, transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon, Myanmar. Arrive at Yangon international airport, welcome by our experience tour guide & transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 11: Yangon - Bagan (B, L)
After having breakfast at the hotel, morning flight to Bagan situated in Central Myanmar, on the East bank of the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. Arrive at Nyaung U Airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Sightseeing start to colorful Nyaung Oo Market, and Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, then Ananda Temple, King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architecture, then Thatbyinnyu Temple, the highest building on the Bagan plain, after that visit to Htilominlo Temple , noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations. In the afternoon observe the process of traditional lacquer ware, one of Myanmar’s best known handicrafts and a specialty of Bagan. Then visit Manuha Temple, Myingabar Gubyautgyi Temple, an early period Pyu-style temple of Hindu influence with some of the oldest mutual paintings in Bagan and Dhamanyangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Lastly enjoy the sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River from Buphaya or Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day 12: Bagan (B, L)
Option: Balloon Over Bagan (BOB)
It is a unique opportunity to see the Bagan with ‘BALLOONS OVER BAGAN’. You get a magnificent birds-eye view of thousand year-old pagodas, temples and the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River as it has never been seen before. The balloon is guided by gentle winds not exceeding 24 km/h. Eight/Six at sunrise last just under an hour and take off daily from October through March. Price is US $ 290 / pax. Due to the limited capacity, advance bookings at an early stage are highly recommended. After breakfast, visit tropical village t o visit an old Noodle Cottage and observe the daily life the people in Taung Bi Village. Afternoon visit Kyaugu Umin Temple, which is an interesting rock cave tunnel, and Nagayon an elegant and well preserved temple containing many Buddha images, the main one which is twice life size and shelters under the hood of a huge serpent. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Bagan - Mandalay – Ava - Amarapura - Sagaing - Mandalay (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Mandalay, the commercial centre and cultural tourism site, was established in 1857 by King Mindon, Arrive at Tada Oo International airport and direct sightseeing to the ancient city of Amarapura. Visit to Mahagundayone Monastery to study the daily life of the monks observing Buddha scriptures, U Bein Wooden Bridge (1.2km long) across Taung Tha Man Lake. And then drive to Sagaing and visit Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda which is the copy of Mahaceti Pagoda in Siri Lanka and Sagaing Hill the center of Meditation. Then drive to Mandalay and check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay (B, L)
After early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the jetty to take a boat trip to Mingun. Visit Mingun Unfinished Pagoda, Mingun Bell, one of the world largest hanging bronze bells and Myatheindan Pagoda. After sightseeing in Mingun, sail back to Mandalay. Afternoon visit Mahamuni Buddha Image, Zegyo Market and some of Mandalay’s cottage industries, such as weaving and tapestry making, Burmese candy making, Bamboo fan making near Eindaw Yar Pagoda, Atumahsi Monastery and Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw (Maha Lawkamarazein Pagoda) which is famous as the world largest book of many stone slabs on which is inscribed the whole Buddhist Literature. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 15: Mandalay - Heho - Inle (B, L)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to leave for Heho. Arrive at Heho Airport and drive to Nyaung Shwe and transfer to hotel by boat to Inle Lake. Being located at the 900 meters above sea level, Inle Lake is the second largest natural lake in Myanmar with hazy blue mountains as backdrop. Visit Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, the most famous pagoda of the Shan State. Ywa-Ma village, gold and sliver smiths’ workshop. After lunch, visit Jumping Cat Monastery and floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village life and the famous leg rowers. In the evening, enjoy the sunset while visiting the Inle Lake by boat. and overnight.
Day 16: Inle – Heho - Yangon (B, L)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight back to Yangon. On the way to the hotel, visit Kabar Aye (the World Peace pagoda) and Maha Pasana (the great cave for Buddhist synod) and check in at the hotel. After lunch, shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott’s Market) of hundreds of shops where you can find local products such as Gems & Jewelry , slippers, cloth, and so on. Evening stroll along the China Town and study the ways of living of Yangon citizens (which can observe the tradition and modern costume). Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 17: Yangon - Bangkok (B)
In the morning start the city tour in Yangon, includes Sule Pagoda in the heart of the city, Chauktatgyi Reclining Buddha image 230 ft (70 m) long in the pose of rest, the original image was built in 1907 and one of the biggest colossal Buddha in Myanmar. Special evening visit to the massive Shwedagon Pagoda, famous worldwide, its golden stupa is the ‘Heart’ of Buddhism Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. Then transfer to the airport for the flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, meet & greet our tour guide before transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 18: City temples tours – Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha Temple (B, L)
The tour takes you through some of the most interesting parts of Bangkok, including stops at the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Trimit), the home of a 5.5 ton Buddha image, found when the port of Bangkok was being expanded and dating back more than 200 years. The Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), famous as the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. Visit to the Grand Palace, Coronation Hall and the holiest of all Thai Temples “The Emerald Buddha Temple” (Wat Phra Kaew) where the replica of Angkor Wat and the late Ayutthaya-style murals on the surrounding walls illustrate scenes from the Ramayana are included in the temple's compound. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 19: Bangkok – Ayutthaya (Return by Cruise) (B, L)
After breakfast in the hotel, we will go by air-conditioned car/van/coach to Ayutthaya. Visit Bang-Pa-In, once was the summer palace of the late King Rama V – this has some exquisite art works and the temples. Return on the comfortable Motor cruiser downstream to Bangkok. Enjoy the sights of the rural Thailand. Buffet lunch served onboard (excluded all beverages). Evening, arrive in Bangkok and transfer from pier to hotel. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 20: Bangkok – Chiang Mai – Khantoke Dinner (join) (B, D)
Breakfast at hotel, and free at leisure till time transfer to the Airport for flight departure to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check in and free on own, till time transfer to enjoy a superb dinner called Khantok (incl. hill tribe performance). After that, free on own at Chiang Mai Night Bazaar before return to the hotel. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 21: Doi Suthep Temple – Meo Doi Pui – Local Handicraft Village (B, L)
The journey begins with a visit to a Meo Hill tribe village. Since they originally migrated from South China, the physical features of the tribe are similar to Chinese. They prefer large families and average about 8 in a family. They practice shifting agriculture. Mostly planting upland rice, corn and soybeans. Generally you will find that the womenfolk's works harder than the men. A trait similar with most hill tribes. Their houses are not built on stilt rather directly on the ground. Due to its proximity to Doi Suthep this particular village is slightly more commercial and less traditional. Doi Pui was once famous for opium cultivation. It's 1500 meters above the sea level. Trip continues on to Wat Doi Suthep Temple. Driving up offers a panoramic view of Chiang Mai city. Later on, embark to the San Kamphaeng district, heart of the silk and cotton home industries, to witness the fascinating process of making and weaving these popular fabrics. Continue on the Bor Sang, the umbrella village, where the delicate Thai paper umbrellas are produced and hand-painted. From here, onwards to Thai Celadon, about 6kms north of Chiang Mai, where exquisite ceramics are produced. These are modeled on the Sawankhalok pottery that used to be made hundreds of years ago at Sukhothai and exported all over the region. With its deep, cracked glazed finish the style is very distinctive and some pieces are exceptionally beautiful. Last but not least, are stops to observe the intricacies of both lacquer ware and silverware craftsmen. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 22: Elephant Safari – Oxcart Ridding – Orchid farm (B, L)
Breakfast at hotel, embark to the Elephants Camp to see the elephants at work in a jungle area, see how the elephants are trained for working with human and the elephant shows. Then, you will be an exciting ride on the elephant ride along the trails and followed by Ox-Cart ride back to the camp. Lunch at the elephant camp. Afternoon, enjoy with local handicraft bamboo rafting along Mae Taeng river. Return to Chiang Mai and a stop will be at Orchid Nursery. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 23: Chiang Mai – Bangkok – departure (B)
After breakfast, free at your leisure till the time transfer to the airport for flight departure to Bangkok.
