Detailed itinerary:

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival

Today you’ll land in Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat International Airport). Warmly welcome by our tour guide & driver at airport & then transfer to hotel for check in.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)

After breakfast, at 8 am, we will visit Cu Chi tunnels - an immense network of connecting underground tunnels during American War. Back to the city for lunch.
After lunch we will visit Notre Dame Cathedral, in the heart of Saigon's government quarter, is of neo- Romanesque architecture with two high square tower and iron spires. The Central Post Office is French-style and City Hall, known as "Hotel de Ville," is typical of the French architecture that would be seen in any village in France. Visit the War Remnants Museum, featuring collections of weapons and photographs from the two Indochina wars. Our last stop is Ben Thanh market, the biggest whole sales market in Saigon.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta - Cai Be Floating Market – Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L)

7:30 am: Depart for Cai Be, stopping to take photos in Tan An town overlooking the picturesque flat rice fields. On arrival in Cai Be, take a motor boat to visit the Cai Be floating market and watch the locals trading fruit and many other commodities on board their vessels. Then wander into the small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation. Keep cruising to Vinh Long through a series of small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village, the green pearl of Vinh Long town, where you can immerse yourself in nature. Enjoy a lunch of fresh river food served in the heart of the garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Take a delightful walk through the bonsai garden. Meet the driver again in Vinh Long. Return to Ho Chi Minh City & then transfer to the airport for the flight to Da Nang City in Vietnam’s Central Region. On arrival, pick up & transfer to hotel in Hoi An for check in.

Day 4: Hoi An (B)

In the morning, visit the 200 year-old Tan Ky house, Phuc Kien Pagoda, the former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful riverside market. Then free for shopping or relaxing on beach.

Day 5: Hoi An - Hue (B, L)

In the morning leave Hoi An for Hue, the last imperial capital of Vietnam, well-known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in small villages and surrounding hills. En route, have a look at the famous My Khe Beach and visit Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Upon arrival in Hue, visit the Imperial Citadel, the Purple Forbidden City, the elaborate mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc and the Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: Hue – Hanoi (B, L)

Take a morning boat trip on the romantic Perfume River visiting Hue’s oldest and most revered site, Thien Mu Pagoda & the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang.
After lunch at local restaurant, transfer to the airport for the flight to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, pick up & transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 7: Hanoi full day city tour (B, L)

Today we enjoy a full day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda & the Temple of Literature.
After lunch at local restaurant, visit the impressive Museum of Ethnology, Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword and the Ngoc Son temple. Take one hour cyclo ride through the bustling old quarter streets of Hanoi before enjoying a fantastic traditional water puppet show (unique to Vietnam).

Day 8: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)

About 8 am, we’ll drive from Hanoi to one of the most magnificent scenic environments in the world, Halong Bay. The drive takes 3.5 hours. Halong covers 577 square miles, this vast bay is filled with more than 3,000 limestone “peaks” or karsts that jut from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see. We’ll spend a day and a half, including an overnight with dinner and breakfast onboard, exploring this overwhelming seascape from the decks of a traditional Vietnamese boat. Comfortable and intimate, your boat features hand-crafted wooden interiors including a dining room and pleasant air-conditioned cabins with private baths. Since we’re overnight on the water, we’ll be able to explore Ha Long Bay’s most beautiful spots with time to swim and even visit some of the largest rock formations and caves. This promises to be one of your most memorable travel experiences in Asia.

Day 9: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Luang Prabang (B, L)

Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.

After breakfast, explore Sung Sot cave, swim and relax. Cruise back to the jetty while brunch is served while you are cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Cruise check-out. Turn back to Hanoi to take the flight to Luang Prabang, Laos. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to hotel. Luang Prabang has been claimed by the UNESCO to be ‘the best preserved city in South East Asia’.

Day 10: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves - Luang Prabang (B)

Today, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving.

Day 11: Luang Prabang – Khouangsi waterfall (B)

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the procession. From there you will visit the morning Phosi Market, where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village, then drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails. After returning to Luang Prabang by late afternoon, we continue to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for its silk weavings and for its Saa (jute) Papermaking. We return to the city by late evening to observe the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath.

Day 12: Luang Prabang - Bangkok (B)

After breakfast, we visit The National Museum (close Tuesday) at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through to the last sovereign. Also the Central Market is not to be missed. After visiting these sights in the morning, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, meet & greet our tour guide before transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure after check in.

Day 13: Half Day Bangkok City Temple Tour (B)

Breakfast at hotel and then sightseeing tour to visit Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, the temple is famous for its 900-years old five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image, and then continue to visit Wat Arun, perhaps better known as the Temple of the Dawn, is one of the best known landmarks and one of the most published images of Bangkok. After that, visit to Wat Po, the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok, as well as the largest single Buddha image: the Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas), also known as Wat Phra Chetuphon or The Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The temple is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage Reclining Buddha. After this place we back to the hotel and free at leisure in the afternoon.

Day 14: Bangkok – Koh Samui (B)

Arrival at Samui airport, meet & greet and then transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure.

Day 15: Full Day Join Tour Kayaking & Snorkelling Angthong Marine Park (B, L)

After breakfast at hotel, pick up at the hotel and transfer to Lomprayah pier, then check in for taking the equipment and morning mail. (tea, coffee, hot chocolate). Then departure to Marine park, upon arrival and enjoy Snorkeling at Koh Wao (Wao Island), Hiking to view point to see the emerald lake and all marine park view. Lunch at Wan Ta Lab Island (Marine Park Headquarter). After lunch enjoy your excellent experience with Kayaking around the Island or hiking to the top of Wau Ta Lab Island or take the sunbath on the beach until time back to Samui Island and transfer to the hotel.

Day 16: Koh Samui – Bangkok – Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel, then free at leisure till time transfer to Samui airport flight back to Bangkok and connecting to your next flight.
